Biography:

I was born in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but grew up overseas in a missionary family. I grew up in small communities in the countries of Panama and Papua New Guinea (PNG) before coming back to the USA for college.

I graduated from Tarleton State University in Texas with a biomedical science major and a minor in music. My wife and I got married the summer before starting medical school at UT Health in San Antonio, TX. My wife Andrea worked hard as a music teacher to put me through medical school, and our first daughter was born right before starting residency. I completed Family Medicine Residency training at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth and stayed for an extra fellowship year in advanced procedures and essential surgery training.

My wife and I now have 2 daughters, Azelia and Callie, and it is so much fun to see them grow and see the world through their eyes. As a family, we love to spend time together, go to the park, explore nature, play games, and host people in our home. Personally, I also enjoy gardening, hunting/fishing, backpacking, and DIY projects around the house.

We are excited to make Belleville our new home and get to know the community!
