Speech Therapy
Our speech-language pathologist, Mary
Anderson, MA/CCCC-SLP, provides treatment for inpatients and
outpatients at Republic County Hospital. We offer speech therapy
for individuals with:

Difficulty swallowing; diagnostic video
fluoroscopic swallowing exams are available.

Weak oral/facial muscles, imprecise
articulation, or poor speech intelligibility.

Voice problems such as hoarseness or lack
of voice.

Memory, attention, or problem solving
deficits as a result of neurological impairments including
age-related problems.

Comprehension and/or expressive language
deficits due to stroke, Parkinsonism, or brain injury.
